🍂There’s something unforgettable about photographing end-of-October engagement photos at Harkness Memorial State Park. Kerry and Darien chose one of the most scenic locations in Connecticut, and the timing could not have been more perfect — the warm golden light, the soft fall colors, and that signature Harkness glow gave us everything we needed for a stunning session.
🍂We started in the gardens, where the combination of the Eolia Mansion, the stone architecture, and the subtle autumn tones created a romantic backdrop. As the sun began to dip, we moved toward the open fields and shoreline, capturing that dreamy late-October light that Harkness Memorial State Park is so famous for. Their chemistry made everything effortless — every laugh, every glance, every moment felt real and beautifully genuine.
📷 We ended the session by the water, where the sky turned blue and gold over Long Island Sound. The glowing sunset, the gentle waves, and the clean natural color of the landscape gave us some of my favorite images from the day. This location always delivers, but Kerry and Darien brought the chemistry.
